Hi Everyone,

Me and my '68 coupe have a long history but right now im having custom shifter rods fabricated with heim joints. I've been taking measurements of the distance from eyelet to eyelet of the shifter levers on the tranny to the shifter arms of the shifter itself to get an idea of the length I need, but, just to be sure, for those who have custom heim rod-end shifter linkage, what is the length of your rods? My shifter is a Hurst Competition plus on a 1969 4 speed wide ratio (RUG M3)

Thanks for the info. I'm going with just straight aluminum rods with internal threading but in the future, using the existing shifter rods would be a good alternative. I suppose If i have the rods made on the long side of things that i can cut/fit them with a hacksaw.
