Slight steering drift...

My 86 GT has a slight steering drift, has a new rack...

Its not severe, but its definitely there, any suggestions where to start? Tie rod ends perhaps? It also definitely needs struts, could that be messing with the camber and causing the car to go side it side when I get out of the throttle?

Just wondering if the 86 is notorious for steering drift from something simple?

Actually, I didn't put the rack in, I can just look at it and tell its pretty new. But after your reply, I went out and looked at it, and did a string test and it does appear the alignment may be out, quite a bit.

Think I will go have it put on a rack and let them look at the ball joints, tie rod ends and see if they think any need replaced... if they do I will replace them then have it aligned, if they don't need it, then I will just have it aligned.

thanks for the input
