Some common formula's for estimations...

Each 10 degree F drop in temperature ~= +1 % gain in HP
Each 10 lbs. removed ~= +1 HP for acceleration (top speed ~ unchanged)
Each 10 HP added ~= +0.1 second in the 1/4 mile

Engine HP & trap estimates, 1/4 mile run:

HP ~= (trap/234)³ * Weight

trap ~= 234 * ³v(HP / Weight)

So according to this...

My weight was 3620lbs with me in it.
My best trap was 100.17mph.

So...

HP~ = (100.17/234)³ * 3620
= (0.43)³ * 3620
= 0.08 * 3620
= 289.60hp

sweet. :D
