Sorry to have taken so long to get back, but isn't it funny that when you decide to take on a new project everything else goes crazy. To answer some of your questions;
She got the car in 1979 as a graduation present(spoiled little brat). Her father picked it up for, get this, $400.00. He was a State Trooper at the time the first owner went off the thruway with it. The guys brother was his insurance agent and decided to total the car. IT ONLY NEEDED A FENDER AND A HOOD! evrything else was fine. In '85 it spun a main bearing and has sat in the barn ever since. Made plans to move it and low and behold we get a Noreaster. SIX inches of snow. The body looks pretty solid, but I have not gotten a chance to look underneath it yet. Of course now my van and my Explorer have broken down so you know what gets the attention first. As (or IF) I get achance to work on it I will be looking forward to talking with you about it. Until then BE TRUE TO THE II.
