If it goes away when you hit the brakes, I am guessing it is coming from a pad. Put in new pads and make sure that you put the goo on the back of them to prevent this.

I was having the same problem with my stang. It started sqeaking when I move to texas. I thought it was the heat. Took it to Ford they resurface the rotor stop for awhile then came back. Since it is now cooler here I no longer here it. I think that it was the pads or my rotors are warped big change in weather from Rhode Island to El Paso Texas
