Somewhere out there
Once and awhile my car would stall out after accel hard and then getting on the brakes while depressing the clutch. Well after installing a 100 shot of nitrous every single time I hit the nitrous and then slow down the car would stall right out clutch depressed or not. I read a thread some where to adjust the TPS by unscrewing the bolts and moving it slightly so that the RPMS increase giving you a higher idle so that your computer has more time to react, so I said what the hell and tried it. Well it doesn't stall at all when I hit the nitrous but it does idle at about 1100 rpms now. Before I went out I cleaned the MAF and IAC with carb cleaner, and the IAC has been replaced about a year back with the newer version that doesn't use the spring. I don't really consider TPS adjustment a solution but more of a temporary fix until I can figure something else out. Do I have to worry about the car idling that high? Does anyone else have any ideas what my problem could be?
