Ok, so i recently installed, my 650 edelbrock carb, so i took the old holley off, did the usual cleaning, put my new carb on, and hooked everything back up. The only problem is, is that the accelerator pedal is sticky, it is hard to push, then once you pass the sticky spot you rev the motor to about 2500 rpm just because you dont know when it will "unstick". I dont know if im the only one with this weird issue, but any advice, or info would be great.

Did you disconnect the cable and turn the valves manually? At the same time as it's disconnected pull on the cable too.
The cable setup is very simple, so if it's not the carb, it probably is the cable.
