I took my sun roof out of the 79 and the slides are all rusty (I had to unplug the drain holes). Do the yellow plastic slots come out the hole? I'm thinking I'll try to spray rust reformer in there as best I can. Anyone else tried this?

Yes the come out but I can't remember how. I know with the headliner out you can see how it all fits together.
