stupid easy question

+1 on above. New resister will fix it right up. It is easy to access just below the below the passenger knee space (between the glove box and the firewall).

Note, on older cars they rust out from moisture from the AC system (open resister elements located directly in the air stream for cooling).
 
Only reason I knew what you were talking about was from my friend who went on an epic quest to find one for his 1990 Camry several years ago. We must have pulled 10 of them from junkyard toyotas before we found a functional one... apparently it was a big problem with toyotas back then. We must have spent more on gas driving around to all the junkyards than it would have cost to replace it with a dealer part. :rlaugh:
