Where is the best place to jack the car up from, and then where should I set the jackstands... I started at the standard lift points, but my jack seemed to bend the metal there.....

I got concerned and said screw this, got my ramps out and backed the car up the driveway, then onto the ramps so i could work, but I need to know good points for when I do my suspension and driveshaft if my buddy doesn't comethrough with the lift....

Thanks in advance!

Well it's best to use a small piece of 2x4 at the jacking point so you stress the metal a little less. I use a 3 ton sliding floor jack and I usually jack the front on the crossmember and then put jacks under those holes on the a-arms. In the rear I jack up on the dog bone which is the part in front of the differential.
