swap from auto to manuel tranny

My tranny died on me want to setup manuel>>>>
Need some recommendation on how to swap from autotran to manuel,
have 2000 gt mustang 4.6 with 4r70w tranny want to setup to a t45 or other tranny with manuel shift. any suggestions are welcomed..
