Tach Dead

Boy searching for the words tach or tachometer gives one way way too many options. Sorry if someone has posted this previously, but I couldn't find it. The last few days my tach has been dead. Nothing, nada, zip, zero, goose egg...


So I'm wondering if others are experiencing this or I'm just lucky. What is the fix, cost, difficulty???
