tail light housing

I'm in the process of refurbishing my tail lights. '92 LX 5.0. What color are the tail light housings supposed to be? The car's color is Emerald green, and it looks like the taillight housings are (were?) also green at some point. Are they supposed to be trim black or body color?

Housings are all flat black, like shown
