The other bullitt mustang used in the movie came out of hiding. This is the one that was rumored to be locked away in Kentucky somewhere, but was actually in Jersey and was driven by a school teacher for a few years. The same family of the teacher still owns the car. They recently put it back together and it was featured with the 2019 bullitt at the detroit auto show. It was also shown privately to Steve McQueens granddaughter.
