tons calls it the dizzy on these forums. hell thats where I learned the damn term.
from a thread about replacing the stator?

do you know what a stator is? or that some hippy alaskan gangsta term that is beyond yall as well?

My question is about turning the distributor with the tfi module hooked up.

that is not my question...

the question is if you turn the distributor without pulling the spout connector

I know its a compilation of "you all", but it actually isnt a word
and I am form texas, its our word, and I can type it however I please.

Uh oh. I didnt use a " ' " in the word isnt.... oops, i did it again. I wouldnt want to make you upset with my conjunctions.

of course reseting your computer doesnt reset your timing. I know that.

If you turn the distributor with the spout connected, i dont think u would get a true reading of your base timing. That is because the computer will be changing the timing as the load of the engine changes.

I remember when i checked my timing with the spout connected, the timing marks would jjust "dance around" the timing pointer and they would not be consistent.

SO all in all, i just think that u wouldn't know your base timing and this wont change just because u reset the computer. It will still be the same...

I HOPE i was of some help....
