tire help please

i want to get tires to use when i go to the track. i was thinking of either getting 2 extra stock 16x7.5 or getting 2 crager wheels that are 15x8. i need help with picking tire sizes. if i go with the 16 will a 245/50/16 fit, or if i go with the 15 will a 235/60/15 fit?

I am running the 16X7.5 stockers with 245/50/R16 size tire on there and it fits the rim real nice. Fills out much better then the 225's. Wish our rims were a 1/2 inch wider so i could run 255 MT ET Streets on there.

what about 15x8 crager nomad II (48 bux each on jegs, not bad) with some 235/60/15 mt et street dr's? will they fit? its either that or get some stockers and put the nitto 245/50/16's on.

If your going to get a dedicated set of rims for drag racing why not get some E.T. Streets with a 26x10x16, that will give you serious hook and MUCh more life than any drag radial.

what size tire would i need for that. they will be dedicated. i really dont know how to read the tire size. on the 26x10x16 with what width? do the widths have to be equal. could i put a 26x10x16 with the 8.5 widht on a 7.5 stocker? in 26x10x16 the 16 is the rim size right? do i need to be looking for a 10x16 rim for et streets? going that route will probally cost more than i originally planned but those were my first choice of tires. im just trying to get an idea of what i can fit under the fender.

can some please tell me if a 235/60/15 tire will fit a 15x8 wheel. or should i be looking at a 255 for the 15x8?

what bolt pattern do i need. 5 lug by 4.5?
