Yeah, i try to explain to people all the time, that keeping a car for 20 years, insuring it and maintaining it isn't really an investment. Could work on high end supercar or luxury cars, but a foxbody, maybe never.Yah, adjusted for inflation a 65 Mustang is worth about the same now as it was when purchased new then. Unless you bought and put it in a time capsule, not really getting much out of it. The idea of the fox as an investment is just not something I’m taking into consideration.
It's just a car, IMO sell it if you can find a good replacement that actually seats 6 and is best for your family.
You are most likely in a unique position compared to most here with a need to move that many people.
I wouldn't have a clue what handles that big of a crew.
What i wouldn't do is sell it without a plan, but seems like you are currently doing that, so...
