I am I stalling a torker I taker with rotated carb base. Do you need to use a cable accelerator or? I was planning on trying to use my stock setup with the metal rod . Doing this to a 1965 mustang 289

So why is the carb base rotated and how many degrees? Is it for a Holley, and which style of floats and bowl is it going to be used with?

These intakes look neat however they were developed during the ‘70’s and don’t make a lot of top end power, the runners are very small. However the work well on the street and are unique which is enough to make them worthwhile.

The Torquer II intake is not twisted. So this was cool to see.
