Tranny Swap 98 Gt

Hey, so I have a 98 GT Automatic and I'm trying to swap out the auto for a manual but my first obstacle is finding what tranmissions are going to fit into my car. I've read threads where people say T-45s fit but then others say that T5's are almost the same thing the same thing but will still bolt on also. Anyone ever done this swap and if so what transmission did you use and what are available to use for this swap.
