transmission cooler?

Hi guys just after a few suggestions, my motor in my mustang is a 302, mild cam, holley 600, edelbrock performer manifold, headers, dual 2 1/4" exhaust and electronic ignition. Anyway I'm going to get my c4 rebuilt with a stage 2 shift kit and 2200 Hi-stall, my question is will i need or is it a good idea to get a transmission cooler aswell? I'm pretty clueless on this and just after some thoughts at the moment. How will the 2200 Hi-stall effect my fuel economy if at all? (and yeah i know i shouldn't really worry about fuel economy if i have this car)

Anytime you run a higher than stock stall converter it is a good idea to add an aftermarket cooler. Just remember that regardless of what you hear it installs inline and after the stock cooler in the radiator.....you use both.
