Engine Tubular Gt40 & Gt40p's With Internal Egr

Hey folks, about a year later than I had hoped but I'm FINALLY getting around to doing my head/intake swap this weekend :) I noticed the GT40p heads I've got have provisions for internal EGR, as does my tubular GT40 manifold, so I was wondering what best way to block it off is. If I don't block it at the head-to-lower or lower-to-upper connections, it looks like the exhaust will run through the upper where it will be blocked against my elbow adapter's gasket. Would it be fine to block it off like that? I've also heard something about the fel-pro 1250 intake gaskets having an optional block-off of some kind, can anyone verify this?
