buena vista,va
has anybody put a complete turbocoupe rear under a foxbody and used the cobra r's?i know the rear is a little wider but this winter that will hopefully be my project.my 3.73s are shot(previous owner had a poor installation done)an open diff. sucks also plus i wouldn't mind the rear disc upgrade.i'm not worried about the quads because they were gone when i got the car, just hoping my cobras will still fit.thanks

I've seen it done, but you can plan on rubbing with the fender. You need to stick with the stock width rear end setup. I have 17x8 on stock width rear and if I move the wheel edge out .75" for the axles and another .5" for the wider wheel, the wheel edge would be right under the edge of the fender. Best bet if you want the rear disc is to either use the www.northracecars.com adapter brackets with the TC rotors and calipers on your stock Fox axles, or you can modify the TC brackets to move the calipers in the .75" to let you use the Fox axles like on this thread: http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=3123067#post3123067 For more info see http://svo73mm.cjb.net and http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/pit/2740/reartech.html

Good luck!
