Turbocharged stang dynbo numbers.

95 Mustang, HP Performance HP Turbo w/ T60-1, Edelbrock Performer RPM Heads, Performer RPM Intake, Stock Cam, 1.6RR's, 9.4:1 compression pistons, 42lb injectors, pro-M univer maf is the basic engine combo.

Stock computer, untuned, 16º total timming, about 8 lb's of boost, 39psi fuel pressure. Numbers were on a dynojet.

435.13rwhp / 497.5 rwtq

I was hoping the hp would be a bit higher, but im really happy with the torque. This upcomming friday i'll be taking it to get tuned, i'll be interested to see how much I can squeeze out of it.

actually concidering, that sounds pretty good..

Untuned, and 16* total timing.. if you can managed a few more degree out of it, you'll pick up ALOT right there! and that turbo probably starts running efficient in the 14-16psi range.. Although you would be over 500 on 10psi, no doubt, so why bother..

from doing tuning work on two turbo cars before (not mustang) I will tell you this tuning a turbo set-up will make rather nice gains. Its very much unlike tuning anything else. Get a boost controller tune it on a dyno and burn chip, with two programs. Controlled through a toggle switch. One setting is low boost (normal driving) and one for a higher boost setting (for racing).

I laughed when I read this as this is exactly what I did. The KB 2200 is still sitting out in my shed as we speak. :D

Can one ever have enough power?

Pretty impressive for 8psi untuned. Once you get it tuned and up the psi you should see some pretty rediculous numbers. How does it drive on the street? Where do you get full boost? Is the turbo loud once under boost? Thanks. Im looking into turbo kits for when I graduate (still a year away  ) from college and my Mustang isnt my daily driver anymore.
