1- Other than putting the top up/down manually to drain out the excess fluid in the cylinders / lines, is there anything else I need to do before I install my new motor&pump?

2- Do you have to unstaple any part of the top in order to change a side cable? I can see where it is hooked in the rear of the car, but I am unsure of where it goes in the front.
