Verts with LT, do you have the stock x brace on your k member?

Who was able to keep or modify the brace for LT headers? (I think this only applies to convertibles.)

I couldn't be my LT headers in without removing the brace, and I am thinking about keeping it out. But I want to hear what others are doing, and what you notice, if anything, with the brace out.

I have mine off for now. I need to cut away some of it to make it work.

I had to modify mine. I took the piece running between the sides of the X (the part that hits the header) cut it off, shortened it until it wouldnt interfere, then welded it back on.
