35th Anniv VIN Check, PLEASE!!!

Everyone with a '99 mustang gt likes to think they have an anniversary edition and I am the same way, lol. I was told it is a limited edition and it has some of the features but not all of them are there. Nothing will tell the truth better then a VIN check. If it is a legit limited edition, I want to make it look original again... if it's not then I wont bother hunting down the parts. The number is below... let me know. THANKS in advance for the help.

Your GT is not a "Limited Edition" GT.

A true "Limited Edition" GT was option code 54Y and cost approx. $2600 extra on a GT. They are quite easy to spot due to the features.

Here are the major differences....

Midnight black and silver seats/35th dash bezel in silver/aluminum shift knob on 5-speeds/door panel inserts.
Polished wheels with painted inserts
Unique spoiler
Unique rocker panels
Unique side scoops
hood scoop with black applique'
rear honeycomb applique between tail lights

Only 4,628 were made in 4 colors only. Black, White, Silver and Performance Red.
