vinyl stripe removal

Hey any of you guys remove the vinyl stripes from your car. I am afraid that if I remove them there will by lines from the borders of the stripes. Not so much fade as the car is only a few months old.

When the stripes are installed the installer uses a razor to pop any bubbles of air that formed during install. I am scared that there will be surface scratches under the stripes.

Any advice would be apreciated here.

Yep. Removed mine a few weeks after buying the car. Since the car is so new, doubt there will be lines. If there is, they fade out pretty quick. Shouldn't be any scratches, all you do is barely poke the bubble to flatten it.

I've taken off a couple of sets.... wait for a really warm day so they peel off well.
You can clay bar the surface of the car after that and all should be fine.

I agree that there should not be a problem. That's assuming the guy used light pressure with the razer blade.
