do i leave the vac line running to the fuel press reg on the rail, or let the fmu do all the work?

Yes you need to leave the vacuum line running to the FPR and functioning. The FMU does not regulate fuel pressure.

how tight do you get the blower belt. man i had a hell ofa time getting the acc. belt just right - no ac and the ps pump sits barely high enough on the driver side.
