Weird Whine? Help.

Just bought a 2000 mustang v6 for 1000. Runs drives great nothing wrong with it other than this issue. When driving there's a whine. Sounds like a older cars transmission when they back up. (Best way I can describe it lol) but any speed neutral or in gear (5spd) whine gets higher pitched with rpms. And does it moving or not. Let me know what u think. Thanks
