Getting v-band put on charge pipe and turbo. Previous owner had issue with it poppin off bout 6500-7000 rpm. So, fixing that. And for a few hours today, the 2 fox bodies got to hang!!
Now that is a serious street carTook the reef in to HPP Racing for a tune Wednesday. Had to update the Holley HP software, set up a better cold start tune as well. Keeping the boost the same at 14lb, and got some pretty good numbers.
793rwhp at 5500rpm.
Nope. The cold start issue along with it wanting to stall while I would shift(when letting off the throttle afr's would jump to 20+) made me wanna get it tuned. Previous tune they were at 610rwhp with 15 degree's and running off the 14lb spring. With the update of software and playing with the afr, it seems very happy now. No more having to play with gas peddle while starting it.Wow nice !
Was the dyno / tune session included with the car ?
I was very surprised, as I have yet to spin it above 4k. I am a granny driver! Prob wont get on it serious unless on a course or strip. Now that is a serious street car
True true. It wasnt bad, just couple little kinks I wanted looked at. No complaints here at all!!Surprised they gave the car away without working out the tune but on the flip side you got a car with a ton of money / time
invested in it for free , well worth what ever the tune session cost !
Doing a fabbed quick release actually. Why does your 89 have an air bag wheel in it....Are you looking for an 89 wheel?
