What Have You Done To Your S550 Today?

I got 950 miles on mine as of last weekend. Your mileage is better than mine. I'm only clicking off about 19 miles to the gallon.

BTW, Love the Grabber Blue Twinky Stangs!!!

I straightened out my in trunk toolbox this morning and added new shelving liner. Not really a car mod, but it makes me happy not to hear tools clanging around in the toolbox when I'm turning corners or stopping fast :)

Installed steeda irs subframe braces, wasn't too bad of a install. It's hot down here is the main thing! Took for a drive, didn't seem to have the cradle movement between shifts as bad. But I didn't get any wot pulls either. That will come soon.

Changed my spark plugs last night and installed Granatelli Pro Extreme coil packs. Shadow goes to Pro Dyno (a well respected Fort Mill, SC based tuner) next Thursday (9/20) to see if anything changed from the coil packs. I'll let you know!

Ok, a little update. Thursday did not go well. The car pulled 5 degrees of timing at 6200rpm due to bad spark knock and cranked out only 408 / 360 at the wheels. It's previous best was 423/380.

The tuner said it was either bad gas or the coil packs I put in were not right for the car. Needless to say, I was not happy! To rule out the gas, I put in a bottle of Lucas octane booster, drove for 50 miles with some hard WOT pulls and ran a little path through Mexico to do some data logging. Whodathunkit, but the gas was bad! No spark knock, no timing pulled.

This is the 2nd time that bad pump gas has bitten me, so I've decided to speed up my time table for e85. 47lb injectors are going in on Monday and the car is being tuned for 93 and e85. We'll see how it goes...

What did I do to my Mustang today? Drove it! Drove it to work, back home, then down the valley to our favorite hamburger joint/car hangout. 'Got 43 mph on the freeway at 70 mph out of the four-banger. 'Bounced it off 100 mph while nobody was looking. A good end to the week.

New member here. After owning a 2005 GT in which I sold in 2008 I was finally able to purchase an 18 lightning blue with black accent package last week. 5.0 coyote is way faster than the old 4.6 that's for sure. So far I've only tinted the windows, added a DIY tint kit on all lights, 25mm hubcentric wheel spacers,

and painted the brake calipers.

Nice job! That is gorgeous, congrats on the new 'stang :)

A new problem has been found! The driver's side cat is failing and running over 200 degrees hotter than it should be! :fuss:

Despite the added heat, the best pull was 441hp / 392tq on e85. As soon as the cat overheats, the car pulls a ton of timing at 6800rpm and it's all over at that point.

So I did the only sane, rational thing a man in my position can do... I ordered ARH headers :D

I'll have new hp/tq numbers later this week. Stay tuned!

Did a diy grille delete, couldn't see paying for a high dollar or popular version. Plus I have that pita adaptive cruise control. Speaking of that does anyone know what this part is on lower grille passenger side?
