what is the stock set timing for a 5.0??

i was out on my timing...so me and my father over the weekend took my motor back down to reset the timing chain...well i got it back up and i'm still have the timing messed up...i set it to 0* and set all my plug wires and still turns over and back fires...i can't figure it out...then i was thinking what is the factory timing???? any help would be great....

ok...so i should set 10* on my harmonic balancer and set my distributor to it????

Um, yeah I think. Just spin the old dizzy till your timing light lights up 10* (if you have a light with an advance knob, ensure it's set to zero).

At 0* (set with the SPOUT out), your idle is probably pretty low.
