I have a 5.0HO swapped into my CJ-7 Jeep. I'm running BBK headers to dual 2 1/4" exhaust through 3 chamber flowmasters. No balance tube. It sounds like a normal V-8. I want that deep throaty mustang sound. What am I missing? Do I need an X-pipe? Different type of muffler? Is it because there're no cats in my system?
What makes that signature "5.0" exhaust sound?

open up to 2 half piping to flowmaster orginal 40's 2 chambers and a off road H pipe... u dont want cats! dump it if u want real loud (no tail pipes) or tailpipes to get that sound ur looking for... and if u do a offroad x its more raspy sound they throaty compared to a H
