what needs to be grinded for stock style valve covers to fit?

my ford racing tall covers need polishing..no biggy..but they have scratches from header install...so i want new ones...i really like the ford ribed covers that say "ford racing" or "powered by mustang" but these are stock height...what do i do to make them clear my 1.6 rockers? anyone bought these covers? do they come with garmmets? the ones i bought from summit did..BUT on there site it says they dont?

Theres an oil baffle inside that needs to be ground down. You can also double up on the valve cover gaskets for a little extra height.
