What size Tire for a 18x8 rim? Help me avoid Bending or Curb Rashing my rim. thanx

So I was thinking of going with a 235 45 18 or maybe a 245 45 18?

Once again this is for a 18x8 rim.

I will not go with a tire with a Height under 45...thanx

i got 245/35/18 on my car and they have the curb guard on them where it sticks out to protect the lip of the wheel mine are 18x9.... i think the 245 would be the best wheel to put on yours
