Ok. I dont know much about brakes, but i will try to explain this the best i can. On my front driver side brake, there is a thin, hard (but flexible) almost plasic stuff that has been torn away and is making an annoying grinding sound when i use the brakes. I look at the passenger side brake and it has the same thin plastic like stuff but it it flat and intact. Anyone know the part im talking about? What can i do to fix this? DO i need new brake pads?
