Yep, all restorable '67 and '68 Fastbacks are gone, and the world now has enough Eleanors to last us for the next 200 years.

That's pretty sad that someone welded together a "fastback" just to try and cash in on the Eleanor craze. I doubt if this one will bring enough to pay for the body kit and the metal work/ paint.
Did you notice that the center driving lights aren't even level? Tacky.

I actually thought it was a Maverick with Mustang sheetmetal before I read everything.

Is there a single straight piece on that car? I'm eve more amazed that someone is willing to pay $5500 so far. If the cosmetics look that bad, I'd hate to see where the roof was held on with tape.

And if you look closely in the one picture, the driver's side carpet appears to be wet. Gotta love those cowl leaks on a horribly put together car.

I also like how they say "THE BACK IS DESIGNED FOR A SOUND SYSTEM, BUT YOU CAN ADD YOUR OWN BACKSEAT." I guess you would have to go completely custom considering they chose to keep the quarter windows.

Aside from the very dirty looking dash, did anyone else notice the red A-pillar? They didn't even jamb the car when they painted it which means it wasn't even disassembled. You can only imagine how much rust is hidden in there behind window screen and paper mache.
