  1. Wheels/tires - fitting them onto 66 stang.

What backspacing is ideal for a 15x7 and 15x8 Cragar SS on the rear of a mustang with a near stock rear suspension and rearend and fenders (stock for all intents and purposes). Would like to stuff some decent sized rubber back there, but I imagine i'll be limited to 235s...

Also, what would the benefits of a narrowed rearend? Cons? Would you recommend it, and if so, how wide (and how narrowed that width is compared with stock) should i get?

  2. I run a 15x8 rim on the back of my 65 with a tire that measures close to a 265-70-15. it is a 28x11.50 MT etstreet. the rim has a 4 inch backspace and car has a stock ride height. it does rub the stock unaltered fenders lips over the big bumps somtimes.
