Where can I get switched 12v power?

I need to find a source for accessory power in the passenger’s side foot well. (2003 Cobra SVT, Mach 420 stereo) It needs to be on when the car is running, otherwise off. The power for the stereo might work, anybody know exactly what wire I should splice into? If you have any ideas or suggestions, they are appreciated.

I am installing a Smartire system, I'll post photos and a review when I am all done.

You can use the convertible top wiring harness. It's inside the console. Mustangworld.com has an article in its how-to section about using this harness to rewire your fog lights to work independently of the headlight switch. I see no reason why you couldn't use the same harness for what you're trying to accomplish. Good luck!

Just run it to the fuse panel. You can choose which one you want it to go to thus anything that come on only with the ignition is hot!
