Where is brake booster stuff located?

I'm wondering if this my problem im having with the leak from the upper intake manifold. how do i check for the power brake booster having a problem and where is it?

It is the black round canister looking object above. It is located on the driver side firewall and the master cylinder bolts to it (where you check the brake fluid)

It's the black one on the booster that can be seen in the second picture, on the left side of it and looks like it's going toward the intake (it's going to the vac tree). It's on the black swivel fitting and goes to the vacuum tree to the port marked B/B (the furthest port on the right).
