will a 302 (5.0) bolt up to our stock transmission

Thinking about doind an engine swap.

they will bolt up to the stock T-5 tranny i dont know about the AODE....

Yeah, but our transmission has some parts that are smaller then the 5.0's. I cant remember the specific parts inside the transmission sorry.

the trannys are all the same, we have the same oen used in all the 5.0 v8s ect the only diff is teh gearing and they beefed up the T-5 a couple diff times, we have the strongest i am sure.

you may need a new bellhousing and this and that

so all i need is the engine, rear end and im set

bell housing, clutch, cable, computer, k member, rear end, and a BUNCH of other parts.

i'm pretty sure there is a difference in the length of the input shafts on the t5's

the 5.0 t5 has a shorter input shaft, therefore has a different bellhousing

why don't you just buy a GT. unless it would be a for learning purpose.
