will a 95 GT rear end work on my 99??

Need to know, for sure, if indeed a 8.8 rear end assembly from a 95 mustang gt will bolt up into my 99 (v6 swapped to v8), i was told it would indeed bolt up and be fine and actualy be a bit narrower making room for a wider tire if desiered....right now its the least of my worries, i just need a 8.8 in my car andfast, what do you guys know??

it will fit and yes it is narrower. so if you have access to it grab it and get your stang up and runnin again. the 94-99 are all the same chassis.
