will vinegar eat away clearcoat?

i use vinegar and water on my windows to remove water spots. i was wondering if the same formula would eat at my clear coat or even my paint. i use about a 70/30 mixture of water to vinegar. if anybody knows please help me out. or if anybody knows what takes water spots off, please let me know

I dont think so... I mean a lot of people clean their car windows that way... So I would have to say probably not. But maybe someone else in the forum will know more about than me.

Nah. We live near a cement plant/quarry, and use vinegar to remove the fallout from that. It'll be fine.
