I was going to install some AM electric gauges in the A pillar in the next few days. Now, their instructions say to use a fast acting 3AG 4 amp cartridge fuse. Thats this kind:

My plan was to combine the wires that feed the power to the gauges and use a single wire to tap into a 12v source. MY questions are, what "size" fuse should I use for that, and also, can I use a fast acting mini blade type fuse instead.
