Would these rims fit?

Through the use of adapters to adjust the backspacing to 4.75 inch those wheels can work/will work on the car.

You will need different tires however (in case you are looking at new take offs) since the newer mustangs have 55 series 17s which are taller (larger over-all outer diameter) than the vintage mustangs ran with.

Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I would piggy-back off of this one since it is the same type of question.

1966 V-8 coupe w/ front disc brakes and rear drums
current wheels - Coys C5's chrome finish (soon available for sale)
front - 17x7 w/ 4.25" backspacing
rear - 17x8 w/ 4" backspacing (I believe) or possible 4.5"

I want to go to 0mm Offset, 4.0" Backspace Ion's 625 17x7"s all the way around because I was told 17x8 will stick out in the back due to available backspacing. I want to run 225/45's in front and 245/45's in rear. I was told no spacers would be needed. Do these sound feasable?
