Messing with the car today a little. Getting the car started up. Both the lower/short upper to lower bolts stripped. I hand started them all the way down until they were just touching the upper intake. Put the socket on them and 1/4 turn...spin...spin...spin. Pulled EVERY thread out????
Go get a helicoil kit and drill/tap/insert one works the other does not...going to pull it in the morning as it ate the threads on that bolt.
Then while putting the upper back on... one of the long bolts under the plenum cover BAM same damn thing. Hand threaded it all the way down and will less than 1/4 turn pull every thread out???? I mean if I used 10ftlbs I would be shocked.
What the hell is going on???? I am scared to even touch it at this point
