Yes, Another exhaust question loudmouth 2s?

  1. my mostly stock 94 cobra had a bassani offroad x pipe and catback installed, that I was really happy with, no drone at cruising speeds,

then a 14 year old with no license decided to nail me going about 35 mph, so that catback got destroyed,

The insurance company put on some half ass exhaust shop bends and magnaflow mufflers that I hate, they drone like mad at cruising speeds, and I am finally gonna buck up and replace them

I was going to just buck up the 750 for another catback bassani setup, but slp loudmouth 2s look tempting,
a lot cheaper, are they tolerable for a DD?

    thanks for any input
  2. Pretty much anything loudmouth is intollerable at idle. I consider it the ricer exhaust for Mustangs.

  3. freeway sound level is my biggest concern,
aren't the 2 series supposed to be a little more conservative?

I had a buddy with loudmouth 1s on his lt1 and christ that thing was loud.

I usually subscribe to buy once cry once, but then again my last set only lasted 6 months : /
  4. I don't know, I guess I haven't really heard the loudmouth 2s. The original loudmouths are loud just for the sake of being loud. I can't stand that.

  5. I completely agree, hence my reservations
  6. an slp LM2 is basicly the same as a magnapack catback, which is the less muffled magnaflow.

I do not think that you will like them.

I would go back to bassani!
