Electrical Use a 94 engine with 89 GT wiring and A9L ECU in non-Ford chassis?

Only question I have is with regards “Low pressure adjustable FPR goes away, running stock Miata fuel pump for EFI motor”.

You do know that the Fird WCU is expecting 39 pig at the injectors and a stock Miata fuel pump delivers more than that.
Perhaps, but it's not something that's even mentioned in the Monster swap manual (just re-read all the fuel related instructions) so I'm going to go with "close enough for my :poo:box" The FPR I have in the car was for a carb'd engine, so 6psi wasn't going to help me anyhow :) Worst case, I am over driving the injectors and running rich.. and I can add a FPR later. But shouldn't the A9L (with it's O2's) adjust fuel trim if it is seeing richness?

I'll toss it to the V8 guys on FB and see what they think (including Martin who wrote the book, literally). Thanks for the tip!

Unable to delete a post from 13 years ago. Please help!

I’m trying to delete one of the only post I ever made on this forum. It’s a for sale post for a car from 2011 and the post has my phone number and email address in it and it’s popping up on Google search. I would love to delete this, but cannot. Any help from admin please?
Can't you just edit your post and remove the info? Look at the bottom left side and click on edit. But the mods should be able to help to remove it.

Water pump flange fell off

Edelbrock still makes water pumps and they are still pricey but like WhiteCobra95 my experience with them has been really good. Still running the one I bought for the T-Bird over 25 years ago.

I have a Motorcraft on the Coupe and I have had zero issues so I would probably just buy another one.

Engine Foxbody idle/throttle issues

Alrighty. Fired it up today, and it idled well. The vacuum leak I have referenced coming from the lower intake is still there though.. might just need a new intake, or the heads were machined prior to me getting ahold of this engine. It idled really well, and fired up right away, so I must have fixed the timing because usually it takes way more effort. I didn’t test much though because we have to pull the transmission back out as it won’t shift into reverse. Feels like there isn’t even a reverse gear present, but we’ll figure that out tomorrow. Valve covers are not sealing right either and I think that’s because the studs I installed aren’t meant for aluminum valve covers, so I’m picking up some new ones this weekend to fix that. I’ll keep everyone posted on how it goes once we get the transmission out.
