Number 17 Sheet Metal giveaway by Roush

Ever wanted to have a piece of serious racing action?  Ever wondered if you could come up with a way to recount the significance of speed every day?  Ever have the need to brag about something awesome you won?  Of course you have…

Roush & Ford Racing have teamed up to strip a (large) piece of sheet metal from Matt Kenseth’s No. 17 Roush-Fenway Racing car.  This piece is right off a car which ran in an official NASCAR Sprint Cup race!  It’s about 148 x 45 inches and holds an approximate value of $550; plenty of braggin’ rights here!

Better hurry, however–this contest ends in just a few days, so you’d better check it out!

A phased approach to the ROUSHcharger

It’s no secret that to get more “go” for your money, you have to stick to what works best and match up with the top players who can provide the means to an end.  The world of forced induction has seen a lot of players come and go, yet many have stuck it out to be proven, reliable resources in the Ford Mustang aftermarket.  One key player, ROUSH Performance, is back to bring another series of superchargers to the forefront and demands attention for the engineering & design behind the R2300 ROUSHcharger lineup.

It’s not just about a new series of blowers coming to market, it’s about a whole new approach to getting your 2005 – 2010 Mustang to be fed well and produce.  A base level “Phase 1” ROUSHcharger starts out with a rating of 475hp /435tq and shows a sticker of about $5800.  “Phase 2” takes it up a notch to 550hp / 500tq and hits a price point of about $6700.  Finally, for the serious enthusiast, ROUSH offers up “Phase 3” which is a dual-belt setup pumping out 625hp / 565tq, slated to be yours for $13K.  That’s a lot of power!

All of these setups are (of course) covered by ROUSH Performance warranties and are made from the highest quality materials around.  Check out more in the official Press Release that follows.

2011 Ford Mustang DUB Edition

It has begun.  The 2011 Ford Mustang aftermarket looks like it’s going to be just as hot as, if not hotter, than that of the first generation (2005 – 2009 model years) S197 Mustang.  Ford, Roush, and automotive lifestyle magazine DUB have teamed up to spice up their very own 2011 Mustang variant, bringing about some increased attention to the car’s base point.  The car isn’t based up on the new 5.0 Mustang GT; it’s based upon the rev-sexy 3.7-liter V6 Mustang coupe.

2011 Mustang DUB Edition will serve as a kickoff to the many exciting projects Ford has coming down the pike.  Its many upgrades include tires, springs, body paneling, and lots more.  Couple this DUB edition along with the Nelly DUB edition 5.0 we saw just months ago, and you’ve got a great recipe for the DUB Magazine tour, set to traverse the entire country through November.

Keep reading to get all the specifics on the DUB Edition Mustang as well as a few other predicated thoughts from Ford in the press release after the jump.
