Haha, now the people who disagree with me are saying how "cool" the ending to that movie is...

I don't even have to come back to that, the responses explain themselves.

Like I said MY opinion, but

Supra (matchbox car, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... try REAL Sports car) > Mustang

Well it's make believe, I would rather have the back to the future car, because it goes back to the future (err... something like that). :D

Also a tasteful done 1000 whp Supra is badass. Whole new car range than a fox or even 03 Cobra. It's more of a sports car in my eyes.

I have nothing against Supras, I actually like some of them. That last black one posted is sick looking. If we're going to talk about street cars though, and say that Mustangs or anything other than a Supra for that matter can't be a fast street car, I'm gonna have to step in.

Take a look at Hot Rod's drag week 2007. This involves driving on the street, through rain, almost 1k miles in the course of a week to several different drag strips and competing for the best average throughout the week. There are no support teams or trailers allowed, and almost all of the cars were pulling their own trailers with supplies. Sorry to burst your bubbles, but a Supra didn't dominate. The winner was a '67 Camaro that averaged 7.80 for the week with a best of 7.64 and never dropped out of the 7s. 2nd was a '66 Nova roots blown stick car that was knocking on the 7s door all week. There were several other 8 second cars in the pack.

 HAHA Stangnets punching bag is going to attack me about a car I like. Here is a real world lesson for you, now pay attention, treat it like your 3rd period class.

Buying a Supra instead of an Audi is the question right?

Poor poor child. Number one, this is new england where we get snow storms from Nov to sometimes April. Driving a Supra in this type of stuff? Come on they can't hook in dry pavement, you really think a Supra would be good in 10" of snow?

Number two, the initial cost of the car might be close to the Audi (might be, but would be a HIGH mileage car at best and most likely abused) but you obviousely haven't factored insurance into that, and for a kid my age to insure a fox and a Supra... umm rigght.

Number 3, I say it everytime someone trys to mod two cars at a young age. One always wins out. Why have two cars when your budget is small to begin with? Again in dream world we can all mod 15 cars, but in the REAL working world (you will get there SOME day) money doesn't fall out of the sky.

If you don't like a Supra thread, heres a novel idea... get the **** out of it. I don't believe the poster asked for some unemplyed 16 year old kids opinion on a car he couldn't afford. :rlaugh: I'm sure he could care less.

Oh well, it's fun dropping to this level every once in a while. Releases some built up steam I have had the past day or two.

By the way I like Supras, but trust me I know WAAAYYY more than you will ever know about fox's and Mustangs. Hell at your age my family had gone through 8 of them alone! So I like all kinds of cars, just have a large background working on, building, and racing Mustangs!
